{ Go see it ASAP... you'll love it so much!}
Like Liz, I am also a very independent girl. I am so blessed to have already traveled solo, experienced life to the fullest, and learned
how to find and love myself.
After the movie, my mind started turning about where I would
travel to go Eat, Pray, Love... my way!

{ Eat = Italy }
Pizza, pasta and wine are my big incentives here... mmmm!
{ Pray = Hawaii }
Being immersed in natural beauty would be my perfect solitude.
{ Love = Greece }
Not sure if Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants brainwashed me, but Greece seems absolutely magical to me!

ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the tea party. Loved this book and am now looking forward to the movie. I have been to Greece as a young backpacker and it is amazing and beautiful. It is on my list of return visit places. Enjoyed your blog!
Hi Meg... Thanks to you I can't wait to see the movie. I like Julia anyway...so that's icing on the cake. btw.. I'm from the LBS..and will be checking in on your blogs regularly..I like I like..LOL

Stopping by from Lady Bloggers! I want to see that movie - looks so cute! I would love to go to italy - to eat pray and love lol.
ReplyDeleteI saw it yesterday and also fell in love! It was such a reminder to be okay with YOU- just you! Julia played Liz so well that you would have thought it was her (Julia's) story! She was incredibly real and believable. We went out for Italian afterward because the "Eat" scenes made us so hungry! LOL Love your picks!
ReplyDeletei read this book and fell completely in love with it. i haven't seen the movie yet but i plan on going ASAP! not sure how well the movie did, but seeing as books are usually better, please read it!
ReplyDeleteI havent read the book or seen the movie...BUT I love the premise of the story behind why the book was written. From what I understand the author (Elizabeth Gilbert??) went through a painful divorce. The short story is, she took a year off to find herself. 365 days to do nothing but Eat, Pray, and Love. I want that!
ReplyDeleteIreland...Italy...Switzerland
ReplyDeleteSomeday...... :-)
I saw it and did a review too..LOVED the movie!! Did not read the book but probably should now. I've always wanted to go to Greece too..there was a movie I saw back in high school that I think was called Summer Lovers that turned me on to Greece. Bad movie but beautiful scenery!
ReplyDeleteI want to return to Ireland some day for my "Pray"...it's so beautiful and peaceful to me.
Great blog..found you a week late from Lady Bloggers Society Tea Party. Better late than never!
