I am coming to you live from my snuggly bed on this snowy Monday morning. In honor of MLK Jr., our office is closed in observance of this late hero.
So anyway, I am celebrating one more "weekend" day by staying in my jammies, snuggling with my puppy, and sipping coffee while Regis and Kelly are playing in the background.
Well, I couldn't be happier that you've chosen to keep me company on my lazy Monday. Who's excited to Mingle it up? Is your blog growing?

ReplyDeleteThank you as always for the 'mingle'. I've posted the button top right as always with it's own title. Off to Tweet and facebook about the hop and see if it drums up some more support.
Carol
PS I didn't see the Golden Globes - it wasn't shown on British TV - am I disqualified now? :(
ReplyDeleteHow about if I say whatever the Glee people wore? Well, they won didn't they?
Hello Meg, thanks for another Mingle Monday.
ReplyDeleteToday I visited Casa de Cowan, she posted about the Golden Globes and her favorite outfits.
Also I visited Across the Pond and she posted some very nice thoughts about religion and her beliefs, nice uplifting post!
I didn't watch the Golden Globes but I saw the outfits on some website today, I guess my favorite was the one wore by Olivia Wilde.
Have a great day!
Hello Meg,
ReplyDeleteI visited Casa de Cowan, she posted about her favorite Golden Globe outfits. And I love the color combo for her blog
I also visited Across the Pond. She gave her views on religion. I also loved her layout. It was artsy yet simple.
I went to "Seeking Starbucks"- funny and witty blog! I also went to "Accross the Pond" who has amazing photos and header on her blog. She also does this 30 day challenge which I am now thinking about doing as well!
ReplyDeleteok I also saw "Gator Tales" and her blog is so cute! I love the colors and the background and also the fact that we went to the same college! Yay!
ReplyDeleteStopped by "Creative Flair" - Love her art and crafts! They're so cute and inspiring. I feel like I should spend my day off doing a fun DIY project...
ReplyDeleteThen I hit up Casa de Cowan and Hello - anyone else that gets excited for a Lilly P sale makes my day! Can't wait to follow her more...
Last but not least I hit up "Such life in the tropics" and lets be real - she lives in the Grand Cayamans! HELLO. JEALOUS. Then she went on to have an awesome Hen night. OKay, jealous over here!
Thanks for letting me participate Meg! <3 ya
Happy Monday! SO jealous you're off work, enjoy it! Today I checked out:
ReplyDelete-Virginia Beach housewife - hi, most talented housewife ever. I'm super impressed by her curtain project
- AOG Daily - I love her honest, no-nonsense writing. I think the blog is super cute!
- Favorite Golden Globes Outfit? I think I have to pick Angelina Jolie. Her perfectness is sort of getting old though.
- Mingle Monday shout out (and full fashion recap) here: http://www.poodleism.com/2011/01/great-green-golden-globes-fashion.html
Have a great week!
Hi Meg! Thanks again for hosting Mingle Monday. Today I visited Desperately Seeking Starbucks, where she gave a review of The Social Network. It's my favorite movie of 2010, and I am so happy that it won {though she doesn't necessarily think the same}. I also visited Virginia Beach Housewife, who showed her beautiful new curtains. So ambitious, and they turned out great!
ReplyDeleteAnd as for the question of the day...Mila Kunis! She looked absolutely incredible. The color was stunning on her!
Anyway, I hope you all have a fantastic day!
xoxo,
Joelle
I visited "Simple Little Joys" & "Seeking Starbucks" basically because the names drew me to them and seemed like something I would be interested in.
ReplyDeleteSimple Little Joys wrote about her morning routine and what she does that makes her feel like a lady, it was very inspiring. I decided to follow her! :) She also had her blog designed by the same girl who is in the process of designing mine!
Seeking Starbucks - the name alone made me want to follow her, HA! She blogged about the movie "The Social Network" which I have not yet seen, yes I am so out of the loop, and mentioned she'd always save Justin Timberlake, which I so would too. Mmm, delicious! ;)
I checked out VB Housewife and Gator Tales. They were great! I'm looking forward to more posts from both of them.
ReplyDeleteAnd... I didn't watch the Golden Globes. ;)
Today I visited Virginia Beach Housewife and Love is Home. Both ladies have delightful blogs!
ReplyDeleteVB Housewife is the crafty wife that I wish I was (stenciling curtains? who thinks of such a great idea!) And she's at a similar stage in life as I am, so I appreciated looking over her earlier posts about mommyhood and life in general!
And I really enjoyed Joelle's thoughts and pictures from Love is Home. She is sweet and witty, and loves her husband, which is always nice and sappy to read about. :)
It's been a while! Glad I'm back today! :)
I visited Trying to Throw My Arms Around The World. Loved the pregnancy tidbits...takes me back to those days
ReplyDeleteI also visited facing 50. LOVED her yoga story.

Happy Monday! I too have the day off so I have been laying in bed all morning doing NOTHING! so delightful :)
I visited A Day in the Life of Amber - so excited to find another Texas blogger, plus just did the dialect vlog, which is like my favorite thing right now!
ReplyDeleteI also stopped by Throw the Starfish Back... just such a cute blog, and she has a wonderful writing voice!
As for the Golden Globes, I thought Natalie Portman looked absolutely lovely! Maybe it was the whole pregnancy glow thing, but that dress was beautiful!
I visited Across the Pond and Spirals and Spatulas, and really enjoyed them both!
ReplyDeleteAt Across the Pond, I agreed with her choice of Anne Hathaway as being one of the best dressed of the night. Plus I thought it was way cute that she and her mom "watched" together even though they're in two different time zones!
Spirals and Spatulas was all around adorable, and I found out that we graduated from the same university!
As for the Globes, I LOVED Anne Hathaway's look because it was so different. I also enjoyed Catherine Zeta Jones' dress, Claire Danes', and Olivia Wilde's.
visited Happy Girls Make the Prettiest Girls (how cute is that title??? i mean really) and Spirals and Sputlas, who adore because a. she bakes b. she is a newleywed and c. is in law school like my husband. so connected already.

I think my favorite outfit from last night was Kyra Sedgewick. She always looks fabulous and chooses stylish, elegant, age appropriate dresses every time. I LOVED her Orange dress with turquoise jewelry. Gorgeous.
Joining for the first time, today I visited the.new.me and I just have to say that I love the background on her blog! Oh my gosh, the doodles and all are adorable, as are all of the fun photographs that the blogger shares. Great job, lady!

Oh sweet Meg, our fearless Mingle Monday leader! I'm back again, and I'm loving the new participants this week!

ReplyDeleteI also visited Houghton Happenings. Her baby is precious, and I loved the dress she had in her most recent post!
I LOVE this idea! And I love your blog! I visited throw the starfish and 25 before 25. Throw the starfish back had a really cool post about Happiness and she mentioned sex and the city which is one of my all time fav shows/movies. Some of her other posts are things I feel every girl can relate to. 25 before 25--I love this title just for the mere fact that I'm turning 25 this year!
ReplyDeleteHalle Berry had on the best dress!
