Bonjour lovelies!
This little blog post installment is coming to you live from my fabulous Droid phone (thank you, Verizon!). I am heading to the state capitol today with a mafia of staff and volunteers to lobby for smoke-free laws to be passed and advocating for cancer patients' needs. Should be a great and very productive time!
After a long day of lobbying, I will be looking forward to a date with my favorite hunk (seriously underrated word by the way). I've been missing that boy so much, so I'm pretty excited to have a low-key evening at my place. We love cooking together, so I'm looking forward to the most amazing dinner ever.
The only problem is... I have no idea what to make!!
This is where you come in! I need a decently healthy meat dish, side, and perhaps a yummy dessert? Pretty please help me out... recipes, recommendations, and links appreciated!
Gotta wow my Love, right?! ;)

Oh, how fun! I'll see if I have anything in my recipes that might be good!
ReplyDeleteExciting!! I just posted this recipe the other day for this dessert - it's so easy but you need to make it about 3 hours ahead of time. If you can't do it tonight - save it for later - it's seriously amazing!

check out the menu mama's site...her Cavity Maker Chocolate cake is out of this world. It is so moist, and so easy to make. I have made it three times now, and it just gets better. www.themenumama.com

You go girl for lobbying about something so important!
ReplyDeleteI make this quick recipe for JT when I'm in a rush and its super tasty.
Apricot chicken
I cut 2 peppers and an onion and put it into a pan. Then I take the chicken cutlets and throw them into the mix. I pour a jar of apricot jam and a can tomato sauce over the chicken and let it cook for 45 minutes to an hour on 350.
Bon a petite.
The pictures looks delicious. I was hoping you were posting a recipe for that! What did you end up making?
