Happy Monday, my dears!!
I will be around checking out more blogs when they fill in, but for now, my plans for the 4th are.....nothing! I would love to go out, but pregnancy is weighing me down, and sitting out on the porch to see the fireworks sounds good enough for me!

We go on Friday the 1st for our local BIG fireworks show, then to the local amusement park on Sunday afternoon to float around in the water park. The actual 4th of July, I hope to do nothing but sit my butt in the air conditioner and read! :-)

Hiiii Minglers! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of blogs open in new tabs to visit as I sneak glimpses this afternoon!
For the weekend, I'm taking Friday off to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday! We are going to a wedding together on Saturday and will probably be recovering from the wedding/driving home/relaxing on Sunday with family. Monday I want to see some fireworks!!
I visited Laugh Until Your Cheeks Hurt--she did a really cool project herself that she saw on Pinterest! I'm inspired to try some of the things I've seen now!
ReplyDeleteI also visited Life on a Stick--she has some of the MOST adorable pictures of her newborn twins posted. Seriously, they are presh!
4th of July plans are still up in the air but might be staying in DC, going to Rehobath with some friends or going to VA Beach to visit my friend since she moved back home. I need to decide soon!!
I visited I dream loudly and Life on a Stick. Great blogs! I love dream loudly such a positive blog and the twins on life on a stick...love it! My mom is a twin and my cousin just had twins!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time linking up and I accidently didn't add a picture to my link! But my plans for the 4th as of right now are sadly working. :( I work the night shift too so that means no fireworks for me.
I went to Nothing Rhymes with Rachel and loved her blog. She introduced me to kareoke cab! Love it! Also visited Going the Distance and saw pictures of her and her lovely boyfriend. What a cute couple.
ReplyDeleteToday, I stopped by Going the Distance and Laugh Until Your Cheeks Hurt. Both super cute blogs! I absolutely loved Jenn's date recap on Going the Distance (and am super jealous of her awesome date weekend) and I think I'll be copying Shalyn's DIY project...and I'm following her on Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteI always think about making "exciting" plans for the 4th of July, but I ALWAYS end up driving to my mother's house instead. The Wimbledon final is that Sunday and her birthday is the 5th. We watch together and I make her cook for me. I couldn't imagine a better way to spend it.
I stopped by life on a stick. She talked about her life with her new baby twin boys. So precious!! I also stopped by nothing rhymes with rachel.
ReplyDeleteShe talked about her busy weekend. I regularly read her blog and love it. Happy Monday!!
I visited Going the Distance and Words by Katie. Two wonderful blogs, and I love both of their blog headers!
ReplyDeleteOh, and for July 4th I'm off to Ohio to visit my boyfriend. So excited!!
ReplyDeleteThis 4th of July I'll be spending it with family up at the cottage. It's so nice to be home for the summer and getting a breath of "fresh air" from living over seas! Have a wonderful holiday, everyone!!
ReplyDeleteThis year I'll be spending the 4th with my family cooking out, playing with the kiddos, and of course watching the fireworks!
ReplyDeleteThis week I visited Going the Distance and Nestful of Love. Both great blogs!
I stopped by The Sweet Life. She's recapping the highlights of her fun trip home for Miscellany Monday.
ReplyDeleteI also went to Made for Sunny Days. She posted about living for today. She embraced that philosophy by running a marathon!
Aaaand, I stopped by On the Front Porch who has a little news tidbit: she's engaged!!
Love Mingle Mondays Meg. So glad you hosted again this week :)
Oh, 4th of July plans: not working :) Maybe meeting up with our friends and their 2 little ones at their place.
ReplyDeleteI don't have an 4th of July plans just yet but I'm hoping for a fun party or BBQ with friends since my guy will be out of town =(
ReplyDeleteChecked out The Sweet Life & Love Woke Me Up
Hi Meg :) I stopped by Nestful of Love; she has the Sweetest sister in law, who made her a cute binder that's full of recipes -just for fun. I admire surprises, and thought that was really cool.
ReplyDeleteI also looked at the blog "Life on a Stick," and I would have never guessed how happy I'd feel once I looked - if you haven't looked at her blog, it is a must. Utter happiness is bound to occur.
4th of July - I thought I was going to be doing what I usually do -and, I'm pretty sure that I will not. So, I have no idea what I"ll be doing!
