Although jam-packed with fall parties, dinners out, an engagement party, a birthday party, and a barbeque... it was such a wonderful weekened. Not to mention, my dear friend Lindsey is in town to visit me until Wednesday! I went to bed last night so happy and exhausted.
Did you all have a good one? Feeling a little sleepy this morning too? Don't worry, hopefully Mingle Monday will give you all the boost you need!
{ Let's mingle! }
Pretty Pretty Please...
If you could find it in your big heart to pass the Mingle word along... I will love you forever and ever and ever.
In all seriousness, I truly appreciate each one of you who take an extra minute to go the extra mile for me. I cannot thank you and your sweet generosity enough!
{ Many thanks! }

glad you had such a good weekend! mine was nice and refreshing. glad fall is here and able to go and do without burning up.
ReplyDeletecostumes? i went as a bunch of grapes one year. it was comical. purple balloons all over my body. yikes!
favorite i have seen so far - the baby dressed as a lobster carried around in a stock pot. too cute!
I'll be back to check out some blogs as more link up! :)
ReplyDeleteYou know? I'm not terribly big on Halloween, but I can't wait to have kids and to dress them up. I found a costume that is a Starbucks drink and it is SO CUTE!
I can't wait for Halloween. I have never really got to celebrate it all costume and everything but I plan to this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of Halloween, but my favorite costume I hade was my freshman year in college. We dressed up as graduates - just in case we never got to wear another graduation fown. I will be visiting more blogs as they link up!
ReplyDeleteWe are not going to dress up for Halloween this year but if I were to I would be the Sundrop girl...easy and fun! In past years, we've done Scooby Doo and gang which was a blast!
ReplyDeleteI visited LWTE and Cheers Bethani who talked about their fun weekends!
Im new to the link up and I love this idea! What a great way to find new blogs to look and and people to connect with!
ReplyDeleteI love dressing up!! I think my idea for my bf to go as the Hamburglar this year is one of my best though! I can't wait to see how it turns out.
i just came across a picture of someone dressed up as mary poppins and bert the chimney sweeper -- it was fantastic. i'm not dressing up this year but if i was, that would definitely be the costume for the hubs and i.
ReplyDeletehappy monday!
Hey Monday and fellow bloggers :-)
ReplyDeleteI actually just completed my costume today with a black wig and devil horns!! I have excelled myself this year as found a trashy dress and worked it into a devil outfit! I am one of those less is more on Halloween girls haha!! I have to say Miss Heidi Klum does fabulous costumes.
I visited LWTE and read all about her apple fun times!
I read a fabulous little recount on Life of Love- fab photos too :-)
I also visited RBIS and joined in with a little 'It's ok..' post haha!! Great little random post!
Will check back later for more!
I LOVE Halloween! My best costume was Tippe Hendren from The Birds...I had a 40's style suite and black crows attacking me all over...it was awesome!
ReplyDeleteI visited Daily Inspirations -- her tutu halloween costume sounds cute!
cheers, Bethani ran thru her weekend...pumpkin patch visits are so fun!
I went via Cheers, Bethani who sounds like she had a great weekend and then to Inspire Keri who has a halloween costume idea I may steal because I always have absolutely terrible ones! I'm generally not one for fancy dress anyway so Halloween fills me with dread :S
ReplyDeleteOne halloween a long time ago, I dressed up as a domino piece, loved it and sooo simple to make!
ReplyDeleteThis year, I am hosting a marquerade party at my house, but not sure what I will wear.
Just visited "bring the rain" and I have to say I loved her blog, specially that she posted about being grateful for every day!
I also visited the Laugh blog and just found out that she is pregnant!!!
Happy Halloween!
One Halloween, my husband (boyfriend at the time) dressed up in my dad's correction officer uniform and I went out and bought some orange clothes and fake handcuffs. It was pretty simple and inexpensive. I always try to use family work uniforms for my Halloween costume.
ReplyDeleteI was red riding hood once and carried a basket of cookies. Which made my costume a hit.
ReplyDeleteThis year I really liked a Tron costume I saw, but I don't think I'll get a chance to wear it.
Happy Monday! Thanks for the Monday Blog Hop! :)
ReplyDelete<3-Cami from First Day of My Life
im not dressing up this year, but have always thought clementine from eternal sunshine would be an awesome costume!
ReplyDeleteI stopped by Cheers, Bethani, who was thinking about doing a Secret Santa through blogland, which I think is an awesome idea!
ReplyDeleteI also dropped by life of love, where she did a really awesome art project!
Happy Mingle Monday!
ReplyDeleteI'm not good with Halloween--I wish I could help :)
I visited This Farm Family's Life and I loved her pictures from Kelsay Farms! They look like the had a blast and her children are precious!
I also visited Married in the Middle of Nowhere and she seems to be just as addicted to Pinterest as I am. I love her background too!
Happy Monday! I got to visit a lot of great blogs today! Simply Me, Summer Dreams, On the Front Porch, and Synfull Delicious! They were all super cute and I loved how I had a lot in common with all of them!
ReplyDeleteI haven't dressed up for Halloween in probably 10 years, but I found a cute idea on Pinterest where a couple stuffed clear trash bags with colored balloons so they looked like bags of jelly beans!
i love packed weekends ! But they go by too fast :(
ReplyDeletei have a new blog URL: www.phatjill.blogspot.com
Happy Mingle Monday! I'm always late/last to the party but I always find new sites!
ReplyDeleteHmm, best Halloween costume. Most memorable off the top of my head was a 12 year old boy who dressed like a fire hydrant and took his dog out with him!
Today I stopped by Learning Patience and saw her and her friend's cute 5k outfits--looks like they had a great time :)
I then went to Fork Fabrikations. She shared a great pumpkin pancake recipe!
I spotted a Halloween costume on a blog yesterday, and I just HAD to make it for my husband and myself. We're going to be a Double Dare team! I'm excited about it...
ReplyDeleteI stopped by Fork Fabrikations and now I'm hungry for the pumpkin pancakes she shared. I also stopped by Chasing the Extraordinary, who had beautiful scenic pictures taken from a hike she went on.
I noticed a lot of Halloween ideas on blogs this week! I usually see very cute costumes either on others or online, but I'm notoriously bad at choosing costumes for myself. I have no idea why. The only thing worse than dressing up myself is when my husband tells me he needs a costume for a work function. Last year, I went alllll out and work a sparkly cowboy hat to my classroom Halloween party.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good weekend sweetie...love your blog!
