And let me just tell you, if any of you read my tweets from yesterday, you would've known I was WAY ready for the day to be over. Such a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

Work was rough yesterday and by the time I left, I was certain the day was doomed, but let me just tell you how it got better...
Boyfriend came over and surprised me with these

...and he told stories that made me smile as he held my hand across the table. That man is a real keeper, my friends. A real keeper.

My goodness! Can you easily see how that would cheer me up? I have to say that I'm one lucky lass. I woke up this morning happy and refreshed, and I plan on making today a great day, no matter what is thrown at me. :)

ReplyDeleteI have yet to read the Hunger Games series...I am still trying to get my hands on a borrowed copy of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series!! Just saw that movie this weekend on demand! Hunger Games is def next on my list!
And I'm jeals of your baked goods - gave up chocolate for Lent. Only a couple more weeks to go...sigh!!
