Let's Get Lost...

Adventure and a relaxing weekend await...
I am counting down the seconds until I bust out of the lobby doors of our historic downtown office building and hit the road. What awaits? A fabulous weekend getting to spend time with my love as we enjoy time at his family's cabin.

The cabin is easy to fall in love with and is one of our favorite places on earth! We love family cookouts for the 4th of July, winter getaways, and disconnecting from life for a little bit.

Lately, I just feel burnt out. Exhausted. In desperate need of an adventure.

I want nothing more than to be in the car, driving off into the sunset, with my hand in his. Great music playing. Tasty snacks to share. Stories to tell. Is it 5 o'clock yet?

Not to mention, that man is one hilarious human being to spend

3.5 hours in the car with...

...and he's not bad to look at either. ;)



So you're wondering what's on this glorious weekend agenda?
I'm so glad you asked... 

 + board games

+ late night movies

 { I'm hoping for Monster's Inc. - we both love it. }

+ star gazing

+ dinner on the patio

+ long walks around the pond

+ lots of pie

{ They have the best pies made by a sweet local Amish lady }

+ dangling my toes off the dock
+ enjoying yummy coffee from the screened in porch

+ sleeping in

+ lunch with in-town friends

+ shopping in the boutique stores in the tiny town nearby

+ smores around the fire pit

...so in other words, utter bliss.
