Those Monday mornings sure like to sneak up on us don't they? Well, don't you worry, I know it's going to be a great week and breeze right by!
My weekend was jam-packed with fun! I had a fondue night on Friday, pool time Saturday, Theater in the Park (Legally Blonde was amazing!) that night, and Sunday Funday pool time and relaxing with friends after church yesterday.
One of the best parts about this weekend? Last night! Adam finally got back from a week long business trip to Canada. Unfortunately, we couldn't call/text/e-mail since he was in a rural international area, so we definitely missed each other. He stopped by to visit me on his way home late last night, which was extra sweet.
I am so flattered and blessed by some super sweet new blog friends/followers! If this is your first Mingle Monday... welcome! So very humbled that you stopped by to say hi today!
Please introduce yourself - I'd love to personally say hello! :)

Yay Mingle Monday!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't really cook- so I don't have an appetizer go to recipe. However, I'm a HUGE fan of busting out the tortilla chips with salsa/cheese. Then my go-to "bring a dish" is the Betty Crocker out of the box brownies. I always get compliments on them because I make sure they are extra moist and not too cake-like.
It looks like I'm one of the first minglers today, so I'll check back later to comment on people's blogs.
yupyup! I'm with Carly! Bleu Cheese with crackers and grapes is my GO TO. It never fails and is so easy. Have fun/good luck with the dinner party!

HI! Thanks for hosting, I'm your newest follower. I'll send a tweet out too to share the hop.
ReplyDeletei'm usually the one that brings the dessert!!! I like different dips or recently I had these pepperoni/mozzerella cheese stick rolled up in a crescent roll and it was SOOOO good!
ReplyDeleteEggplant fritters! My family goes nuts for them.
ReplyDeleteMy go to appetizer is a layered dip for tortilla chips: refried beans, ground beef, canned salsa con queso, sour cream, and chopped tomatoes and green onions on top. It's easy, and always a hit!
ReplyDeleteI don't really cook, but I would have to say the Mini Tacos or Mini Loaded Baked Potatoes would be a go to appetizer. So quick and easy.

I don't have a go-to, but I've been dying to try those little pizza bite things I keep seeing on Pinterest!
ReplyDeleteI usually do cheese and cracker plates for appetizers, but that might just be a lazy girl thing to do! But it sure is delicious!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you had a good weekend my dear! Thanks again for hosting :)
ReplyDeletexoxo,

Loving the minglin' - however I am all empty when it comes to appetisers. I am more of a main course and dessert kind of person.
ReplyDeleteSorry!

I'm ALL about deserts when it comes to dinner parties, so I'm no help on the appetizer front. I do love chips and salsa though. Simple and easy :)

I usually stick with something simple like spinach or taco dip or something, but I made these yummy stuffed mushrooms for my grandma's birthday last summer & they were a hit :)
ReplyDeleteHi Meg! Thanks for hosting! Great question, my favorite appetizer is bruschetta! I also love any kind of chips and salsa or guac! Love hearing everyone's responses!
