I'm dreaming about our week-long honeymoon trip to beautiful Antigua! It's been easy to forget that we're going on vacation when we're in the middle of wrapping up wedding plans.
Cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am to be frolicking on the beach.
So now that there isn't too much left to do...
...let the honeymoon shopping commence!
.:: My Honeymoon Shopping List ::.
+ neutral fedora
+ extra fun sunglasses
+ strappy dresses
+ super cute layering tanks
+ flip flops
+ bright scarves
+ beach bag
There are cute swimsuits, brightly colored flowy dresses, and cute accessories to find before the big day. Thankfully, Target is always a very successful go to for a girl on a budget.
I'm loving this pretty black crocheted cover-up I bought, as well as a few cute swim tops (so cheap!) than can be mixed in matched with bikini bottoms I already own!
I also found this bright yellow Blake Tote from Banana Republic a few weeks ago. I primarily bought it for a work tote, but it will great for the beach. Plus, it's my favorite color, so I knew it was destiny the moment I layed eyes on it!
HELP!
I am currently looking for some pretty beachy summer sundresses.
It's a weird time of year where stores don't quite have their spring break clothes out yet. If you know of any casual or dressy dresses, let me know where to look!
I found this pretty red one shoulder dress on ASOS...
This is a fun maxi dress from Lulu's...
Just found this adorable straw fedora with a black band on Amazon in the last few days. Just ordered it and it should be arriving very soon!
At the end of the day, I want to feel cute, casual, beachy and fresh. That's my goal! So any help you might have for me on finding the perfect honeymoon trip attire, I would greatly appreciate!
Welp, I'm off to hit up Kohls over lunch and any other places you guys can suggest!! Thanks in advance for being awesome little fashion divas!
Perhaps I should hire a personal stylist?
I always buy my sun dresses from Old Navy! They usually have really cute ones for reasonable, and free shipping over $50. They're on ebates (http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=vSm2eABiKcZRbJ%2BlmpmnAA%3D%3D) too so check that out!
ReplyDeletemight be kind of out of our age group but I found my favorite dress for our honeymoon at rue21...so you might try there...they have great prices too!
ReplyDeleteThis was the dress I bought there:http://passionpinkandpearls.blogspot.com/2012/08/honeymoon-on-harbour.html (it's the one with the day 6 description)
Looks awesome! Your outfits will be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteCuuute! Check Forever 21 - Pretty sure they had some maxi dresses last time I was in there!
ReplyDeleteI wore my fedora the whole time on our honeymoon! It is a must have!
ReplyDeleteYou may want to look at some knit skirts and tank tops. It might be a good alternative to dresses and maybe a little easier to find. Old Navy will have some I am sure.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to take lots of sun screen!!
Oh my goodness I love all of those ideas! You are going to have the BEST time on your honeymoon. And you are going to look absolutely GORG. I cannot wait to see pretty pictures of you and your cute HUBBY loving life and celebrating your marriage :) So fun!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCheck out Forever21 and Tobi.com they have some cute dresses!
ReplyDeleteTarget is always my go-to place, of course! You might try your local Ross or Marshal's. Forever 21 is a good place too! Oh & Dillard's always has good sales - don't know if they'll have Spring/Summer on sale right now but, they might! I can't believe it's getting so close for y'all! SO EXCITING!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite outfit of our honeymoon was my maxi dress that I got on clearance at Belk. Also try macy's, jcpenney, and NY&Co. I've started to see spring/summer stuff crop up, so hopefully they'll roll out some cute stuff soon for you! :)
ReplyDeleteGirl ross and Marshals are your best bet for prices and lots of differnt opitions. DO it! and somtimes they have cute sandels and hats!
ReplyDeleteLove your outfits you've picked out! As hard as it is, try not to overpack. I find that on tropical vacations all I end up wearing are bathing suits and coverups during the day and sundresses/cocktail dresses at night.
ReplyDeleteThis time of year, it's hard to find beachy attire, but the good news is it should be out soon and you can always find resort wear at victoriassecret.com in the mean time ;0)
Random place, but Walmart has some cute maxis right now!
ReplyDeleteMy head is in the clouds right along there with you... how exciting! Loving the maxi dresses they are a great casual piece for paradise. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute. I have been looking for some cute dresses for a cruise I am going on next month. Thanks so much for these ideas. I'll also take some of the other comments into consideration when I am looking for my dresses.
ReplyDeleteI know it may seem weird, but don't forget thrift or consignment stores. They have all seasons year round. And consignment stores are better than retail at getting seasonal clothing ahead of the season. Have a great honeymoon!
