I stopped by our wedding venue with my parents over the noon hour to see how everything looks when it's snow covered, because let's face it...
When your city gets 25 inches of snow in a week, you will have snow on the ground for your big day.
Although I would've loved green leaves and warm weather, it looks like Mother Nature had other plans.
But you know what? I am totally okay with it.
So pretty, right?
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if there is snow.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what my scale says.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if everything is perfect...
Because I get to marry my best friend.
What could possibly ruin that joy?
We're in single digits, people! Get excited, because I know I am! :)

ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful! I'm jealous! I am actually planning my wedding right now. It is in an old courtyard surrounded by beautiful old buildings.. However, I live in good ole Louisiana so my worry is the rain :(. Im going to go the positive route though and agree, at least we get to marry our best friends!
ReplyDeleteI think the snow is beautiful! and you are totally right..at the end of the day, you get to marry your best friend :) We got married in Hawaii... beautiful beach ceremony planned.. not what happened. It was the worst storm Hawaii had in a long time.. I had to just tell myself the same thing and looking back.. our ceremony was perfect the way it was and all that mattered was the man standing across from me..becoming my husband :) How exciting your wedding day is closing in and all the joy you will share!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great weekend!
O my goodness, you will have some beautiful pictures with that scenery!!!
