I hope each of your weekends was spectacular - full of relaxing and fun with friends!
Adam and I decided to skip on down to the family cabin for a long weekend getaway. Such a fun pre-celebration of my birthday week. I love having him home and getting to spend so much time together.
Anyway, let's hop to some fun mingling, shall we?

I've actually always wanted to master my grandma's fudge recipe. I don't know why it intimidates me so...I guess I don't want to ruin the taste I remember growing up hahaha. Or even a pie from scratch..that would be a task.
ReplyDeleteIm not sure it's difficult, but I'd like to cook salmon more. I've just not cooked fish often so I'm kinda scared to do it and mess it up.
ReplyDeleteI don't know that it'd be difficult... But I've never made pumpkin pie, I've always stuck to pecan (everyone says it's great so why change? haha) but I'd love to try something new!
ReplyDeletei'd love to make sour dough bread...im not sure if that is difficult or not but im not a really big baker so it might be difficult for me! xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteI recently found a recipe for making the elf bread from Lord of the Rings. OMG I need to make it now!
ReplyDeleteI don't bake much, but I do have a few things to mark off my Baking Bucket List. I really want to master my mom's famous mac 'n' cheese. She only makes it for Thanksgiving and Christmas and no one has made it up to par. I also want to try something a little more difficult like the Thanksgiving turkey!
ReplyDeleteI just completed making my own pie crust which was on the bucket list! It turned out really good, next on my list would be cinnamon rolls!
ReplyDeleteOoooh I am definitely a better baker than I am a cook, but I would probably love to tackle pies from scratch. Maybe I'll make it a project this winter. ♥ Thanks for hosting, glad to be back!!

ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to make cookies from scratch instead of the pre-made kind! Ive tried it once and i failed miserably.
ReplyDeleteI have been eating gluten free for over a year now due to health reasons, and I would love to be able to bake more GF items. Figure out how to make donuts or soft bread without it being hard and crumbly. I have purchased items that were pretty good, now just need to figure out how to recreate them since baked goods and bread are some of my favorite things and I truly miss them.
ReplyDeleteall those pretty appetizers with the complicated details- I feel like they are not usually worth it but I do enjoy creating and art so I would like to do this at least once

I'd love to be able to do a layer cake, they just never seem to work for me so I usually stick to cupcakes.
ReplyDeleteI don't cook a lot anyways but I would love to learn how to make creme' brulee. I have never attempted but yes it is on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteI really want to learn how to make stuffing! I am too scared to tackle it!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to cook a turkey or bake a pie, I never have done either!
