Welcome to Mingle Monday! I hope you will grab a latte and bounce around to find other great blogs!
Please do me a favor if you have a second. If you can take 15-30 seconds to tweet or share about this beloved week-long link-up, I would really appreciate it! After all, the more the merrier, that's for sure!
Enjoy yourselves, and may my little link-up bring you some wonderful new readers!
HOW TO MINGLE
________________________________________________________________________________________
I feel very honored to be a part of the blog community, and very blessed that my little blog has grown since the day of my first post. I want this blog to focus on paying it forward, so I have decided to re-do my sponsorship platform.
As of right now 100% of advertisement sponsorship proceeds will go to my charity of choice, the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge. There are dozens and dozens of Hope Lodges across the country that give cancer patients a free place to stay while out of town for cancer treatment.
With just $10, you can get a month long ad and know that it is going to help real cancer patients and their families. And for $25 you get a prime ad spot AND an awesome Hope Lodge "HOPE" t-shirt to be mailed to you ASAP as my thanks to you!
This is your day to give back and also get some great exposure in return, so please help me raise money for this awesome organization by becoming a sponsor HERE!

A BIG thank you to these awesome gals for lending a hand. With their help, I have been able to donate a few hundred dollars to ACS Hope Lodge! Please go visit them and say hello!

Wishing you a killer start to your week!
I've used toothpaste on a zit to try and make it go away...it worked only about half the time ;)
ReplyDeleteLavender oil for headaches!!
ReplyDeleteI've been using tea tree oil for everything lately. It's been curing pimples and sprayed in my hair it kept the lice away (I teach Kindergarten so it's a real risk)!
ReplyDeleteI actually don't think I have tried any home remedies; at least not lately because none are coming to mind. I hope you had a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, so many!!! Coconut oil as makeup remover/moisturizer is the best. I've been cutting back due to my graduate school budget but it seriously works miracles!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I've never tried a full home remedy, even though I pin a bunch to try hahaha...I did the whole toothpaste on a zit thing...that doesn't work, but does that count?
ReplyDeleteI love a DIY facial mask! I mix yogurt, cinnamon, and honey, and leave it on for 20-30 minutes. It's so great!
ReplyDeleteI'm always afraid to try home remedies, mostly because I haven't heard of any great ones. So by you posting this question I'm hoping I hear of some to try :)
ReplyDeleteI also haven't really tried a lot of home remedies - but I have enjoyed reading these!
ReplyDeleteI tried the baking soda and peroxide mixture to whiten nails. It made this paste that was really hard to keep on my nails, and I couldn't tell that it did anything at all! Oh well...
ReplyDeleteI've used deodorant on my kids' bee stings and it seems to help!
ReplyDeletehoney for a sore throat.

ReplyDeleteI made my own beet root powdered blush. Its a little messy but leaves a very vivid pink.
ReplyDeleteFresh honey that you can get from the farmers market or something like that. Have a teaspoon before bed and I stop my massive coughing attacks so they don't keep me up at night!
