Yup, time to link-up your blogs, go surf others, and meet some new blog buds. It's going to be great, I promise!
To all of you mamas out there, I hope your Mother's Day weekend was fantastic. We sure had a blast spending time with our families celebrating how great both of our moms are. Man, how did we get so lucky?
I'm looking forward to the Great Chocolate Chip Cookie Bake-Off hosted at my house tonight, so stay tuned for the results and the best recipe announcement on Thursday, National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!
HOW TO MINGLE

Still proud to say that 100% of advertisement sponsorship proceeds go to my charity of choice, the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge. There are dozens and dozens of Hope Lodges across the country that give cancer patients a free place to stay while out of town for cancer treatment - such a cool place!
With just $10, you can get a month long ad and know that it is going to help real cancer patients and their families. So please join me in my fundraising effort by becoming a sponsor HERE!
Thank you everyone for helping me raise hundreds of dollars so far. Now go visit these blogs/shops - they are awesome!

My mom is hilarious and doesn't mind having sarcastic conversations with me, and taught me to always stand in the other person's shoes. She's also taught me everything I know about food and supported my love of books since I was a little kid, even when it meant checking out stacks of books almost taller than me (no exaggeration).
ReplyDeleteA chocolate chip cookie bakeoff?? This is my dream! I'm also on the quest for the perfect chocolate chip cookie, so I'll be eagerly awaiting your results. I think my favourite things about my mom are chatting with her, shopping together, and her endless patience. She always seems so genuinely happy about ANYTHING I say… and as a mom now I realize that she's gotta be tired sometimes too!
