Thanks so much for dropping by!
How was your weekend? Was it all hustle and bustle, or did you basically live in your yoga pants and eat Skinny Pop while glued to whatever bad movie was on TV?
Oh wait... sorry. That was me.
Yours truly was/is under the weather at the worst possible time (hello insanely crazy work week!), hence why I need your help with this week's question. Happy mingling and thanks in advance for your advice!
HOW TO MINGLE
_________________________________________________________
This is your Monday... be brave!
GARLIC! GARLIC! GARLIC! Sleep, sleep, sleep! I have an amazing garlic chicken soup on my blog that is super easy and a big immune system booster. It is my absolute go to when I'm feeling sick. Feel better, lady!
ReplyDeleteI hate to hear you were feeling bad. The weekend is the worst time to feel under the weather. But get some rest girlfriend and down the vitamin C!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!! I always try to take something wit pseudo-ephedrine in it when I first start to feel like my nose is running because thats the only thing that seems to help stop it. And my mom swears by saline nasal spray too. Otherwise just lots of rest and liquids!
ReplyDeleteRest & hydrate! Always better if you have a sympathetic man around that can wait on you hand and foot!

So sorry you aren't feeling well. I drink tons of liquids and get as much sleep as I possibly can. Hope you feel much better soon!
ReplyDeletesoup + BREAD. i love my carbs. feel better! xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteCrawl under lots of covers and sleep it off...take a long hot bath...repeat...repeat...
ReplyDeleteSleep is my go-to!
ReplyDeleteGarlic, sleep, tea, lemon, and lots of vitamin C!
ReplyDeleteI drink a lot of water and try to rest, but if that isn't an option tea feels soothing!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better! I played nurse wife to my sick husband all last week. My only "remedies" I seem to stick to is Lipton soup, green tea, and lots of sleep with the help of NyQuil lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't have the excuse of being under the weather, but I was in my yoga pants for most of the weekend!! Soups and allergy medicine usually works well for me when I'm just starting to feel icky. Otherwise, I send the husband to the store for princess spaghettio's and Hello Kitty Popsicles! -Dorrie @ Bear Den Plantation
ReplyDeleteHot Ginger or Green Tea! Helps all the time in so many ways!
ReplyDeleteWell seeing that I'm not feeling the greatest right now, mine is Peppermint tea and Alka Seltzer Plus. I hope you feel better soon, sweetie.
ReplyDeleteA lot of sleep, water, and Panera soup!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I hope you feel better soon! I just try to sleep as much as possible. Trashy TV helps. Oh, and chocolate. :)
ReplyDeleteI've recently jumped onto the essential oils bandwagon, so I'm obsessed with Thieves! When I feel like my throat is starting to get scratchy or my nose is stuffy, I put Thieves in my diffuser, and overnight I feel better! It's seriously amazing!!
ReplyDeleteSleep, tea, and Netflix!
ReplyDeleteSleep. I'm not real creative. ;)
ReplyDeletePS: My title was wonky, its supposed to be "A new tradition"... is it possible to change? If not, no biggie.. I will just pretend it's slang for something really thought provoking. haha :)
Sleep !! That is exactly what works for me and i had to get that this week as well to feel better.
ReplyDeleteEssential oils, zinc, saline spray and sleep. Also Netflix marathons are proven to work ;)
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better!
Sleep, Netflix, sleep, and more sleep! Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you got over that nasty flu!
